I had to let you know what a big hit Mother’s Day Prime Rib was at the Kirtley Residence! Kudos to you, Eric and his staff. As good as the entrée was, I had to comment on the carrot cake. I fancy myself as a carrot cake expert. This may have been the best of all time. Please let Parker know!!!!
We were so pleased to learn from the Livelys that even though we were not Greencroft members we could order your Easter dinner option. Little did we know what a feast was in store! I just had to send you and your staff a note of appreciation for such a wonderful offering and the cheerful Easter Bunny greeting everyone. It was such a positive note in a difficult time. Thank you all,
Thank you to the crew for a WONDERFUL Easter dinner!!! Bob and I thoroughly enjoyed our ham, macaroni salad, green beans and garlic mashed potatoes tonight …. just delicious. The rest is for tomorrow night. What a deal! We really appreciate all that each of you did to make this happen in such unprecedented times. Evolution and Revolution in Women’s Fashion:
1850-1970 with Presenter: Liza Taylor
From whalebone corsets to microminis, the evolution of women’s fashion since 1850 has been influenced by world events as well as by visionary designers including Coco Chanel, Paul Poiret, and Yves St. Laurent. This program features a brief history of how fashion has adapted to and been influenced by changing times and industrial innovation. From haute couture to home sewing, the clothes we wear have a history. Longtime Vogue editor and arbiter of fashion Diana Vreeland once said, “Fashion is part of the daily air, and it changes all the time, with all the events. You can even see the approaching of a revolution in clothes. You can see and feel everything in clothes.”
The registration fee of $25.00 includes the lecture,
