“My husband and I hosted the rehearsal dinner for the wedding of our son and daughter-in-law at The Greencroft Club. We were absolutely delighted with everything, from the food to the attentive service to the venue. Katy Kirby went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect and she did not disappoint! Most of the guests chose filet mignon or crabcakes and they were both delicious, as were the sides and salads. The scallops in bacon as an appetizer was an especially popular choice. Our servers, Nick and Arabelle, were personable and professional, and Arabelle also served as our bartender for the evening. Eric, the chef at Greencroft, came out personally at the end of the meal to make sure we were pleased. I thought that was very kind of him. Katy made sure we had a table set up at the side of the dining room for wifi and we provided our own sound bar and speakers for our rehearsal dinner playlist, and she made sure each table had candles and lovely flower arrangements. It could not have been nicer.
I would highly recommend The Greencroft Club for special occasions where you want good food, attention to detail, and an accommodating and friendly staff to make your event memorable.”

“Last weekend my wife and I hosted a rehearsal dinner for 50 people. We are from NC and we heard about the Greencroft Club through friends in Charlottesville, VA.The entire evening was wonderful. The food was delicious A number of friends told us that their filet mignon was as good as they’d ever eaten and the variety of small finger sized desserts were a big hit. . From our first contact with the Greencroft, through planning, setup and service for the dinner we were very pleased. The staff was knowledgable, efficient and courteous. We would definitely return to the Greencroft if we ever needed to host a gathering of any size again in the Charlottesville area.”
